About this deal

Living in Arizona with her husband and kids, Sara spends most of her time reading, writing, or baking. If you’ve ever read my book Prospects, you know I dig a man, straight or not, taking it in the back door. And also the existence of queer men isn’t “crazy”🙄 added to the fact that earlier when he finds out Drake is also attracted to men his response is a wide eyed, shocked thought “well you learn something new every day” just rubbed me the wrong way.

It was hot and steamy in all the right places but also managed to include mental health and show real light on feelings and real world issues, which I will always appreciate in a Sara Cate story.

Man, I had to take breaks in between because things were so intense and my emotions were in overdrive. This book delves into some deeper themes involving mental health, and I absolutely adored how Cate handled this subplot. He can't stop himself from talking to her through a private chat and now he is too curious to make it a one-time thing.

Until the day I stumble on a certain cam girl app and find myself watching the one person I should never have watched—my step-sister. Garrett has always been a voyeur so it comes as no surprise that when he’s feeling a little lonely and sunk a few beers he decides to download a camgirl app, intending to watch. This story is about two people overcoming their insecurities and loving one another despite their flaws. There is some great set up for the next relationship and I am very much anticipating how Sara Cate brings it to life. I really loved how this book took a peek behind the curtain of mental illness as well, especially from the MC's pov. The personal growth of Garrett and Mia was phenomenal and I loved how it transformed their relationship as a couple.

I love that Mia is a camgirl, not something I have seen in a book before, so that originality was amazing. She has him wanting and doing things he said he'd never do again, like opening up and getting attached. And that’s without touching on how EOM portrays sex workers or queer people🤦🏼‍♀️ tbh I felt iffy about queer rep in Praise (feel free to check out my review) but while book one just gave me weird vibes, this book made me mad. Also Garret’s mental illness, for the most part was dealt with and portrayed well up until it was fully revealed.I didn’t think it could be as good as the first in the series, but it somehow lived up to my high expectations. So though this book is definitely not for everyone, I would recommend it to those seeking a heavy, taboo filled read. As one of the owners of the Salacious Players' Club, he's comfortable on the sidelines and has always felt that he works best alone. Seriously Sara must have laced this book with some magic cause I will never not RAVE about this book.
