There’s a start / stop button on the front, but also a second on/off switch under the left side of the machine. It’s quite poorly located, and virtually impossible to see, but once you know roughly where it is, you can just about find it with your hand. This time, after the initial 4-minute ignition, it didn’t require any further preheat time and started counting down the 30 minutes I’d set on the timer.

Assembling is also super easy. Simply tighten the handles and start the cooking process right away.After that, take out the grill grate or crisper basket and soak it in warm soapy water for 20 to 30 minutes. If there’s a small amount of food residue, you can skip this step. By the way, Ninja woodfire pellets are made of real wood, so there’s no doubt you will get the actual woodfire flavor from the meals. I was immediately blown away when all three recipes turned out amazing. Not only did the ribs and pork belly have the perfect bark, but they had a nice touch of smoke and cooked in nearly half the time. And the Dutch babies rose beautifully.
