When a retirement home reports a series of incidents disturbing the peace, the detective starts to think that she may have been telling the truth. Following on from Date with Betrayal this new novel delights with its combination of beguiling charm and witty ingenuity.One that’s going to require he regain the trust of the Dales community that he turned his back on so long ago. I began to read the first book of the series in June 2021 and I could not have stopped during this last summer.
